- 1 lb. Thick Sliced Bacon
- 1 bag Dates (about 30 pitted dates in 1 bag)
- Cheese (use your favorite)
- Smoked Almonds
Slice the bacon into 3rds, set aside.
Slice the cheese into slivered pieces (judge size by the size of your dates)
Stuff each date with a piece of cheese and 1 almond.
Wrap each date with a piece of the bacon, setting seam side down on a cookie sheet, about 1 inch apart.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes, or until bacon starts to caramelize.
Remove from cookie sheet and place onto paper towel to drain excess grease.
