You can't go wrong with gooey, cheesy AU GRATIN POTATOES, with just 5 ingredients, you can create a simple and elegant side dish for a weeknight dinner or fancy dinner party. Make it personal with individual ramekins!
- 2 1/2 lbs baby red potatoes, sliced thinly with mandolin
- 1 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
- Fresh thyme
- SplenDishes House Seasoning
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups cream
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (f).
Coat bottom of ramekins with a little cream. Start with 2 layers of potatoes, then House seasoning, thyme and cheese and continue to repeat, ending with potatoes. Sprinkle more thyme over top then slowly pour cream over potatoes, letting it sink through layers until you can see it about half way up. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes, then remove foil and finish baking for another 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender and bubbling golden brown. Makes 4-3" sized ramekins.
