BBQ Country Pork Ribs

February 03, 2014

BBQ Country Pork Ribs without having to use the BBQ? Yep! These country pork ribs are slow cooked to fall apart tenderness and with a quick trip to the broiler, SplenDishes Jack Sauce gets sticky and caramelized and so yummy!

Country style ribs are different than regular ribs or baby back ribs. With regular ribs, you have more bone than meat and with these, they are mostly meat and sometimes not even any bone. These were 2 long ribs, that I cut in half. Easier to fit into the crockpot and easier to eat! Seasoned with our sweet and spicy BBQ Rub, they are going to slow cook on low for about 6 hours. No liquid needed, the natural juices from the meat will soon come out.

This is what they look like after 6 hours of slow cooking. Fall apart tender and already mouthwatering without even any Jack Sauce!

Our Jack Sauce is a tangy, sweet and spicy BBQ sauce that is delicious on ribs, chicken and meatloaf. Its a blend of ketchup, stout beer, whiskey, molasses, soy sauce, worchestershire sauce, red wine vinegar, ground mustard, shallot, garlic, sriracha, olive oil, salt and black pepper.

Get the broiler going. Slather ribs with Jack Sauce and broil for about 5 minutes.

Then flip them, add more sauce and broil another 5 minutes or so until sauce is golden and caramelized.

So delicious and SO easy! You can make ribs any night of the week, this way!
