Cilantro Chicken

April 02, 2014

Another great spring dish! This Cilantro Chicken was light and tangy and delicious served over Sesame Noodles

The sauce is simple, in a small food processor, combine cilantro, shallots and garlic.

Add a few tablespoons of soy sauce and dark sesame oil. I just love the smell of sesame oil, its one of my favorites! Pulse to combine.

Depending on how hot you like it, add some sriracha in. I like it to have just a slight kick, but you can go all out if you like!

Heat a grill pan and coat with oil. Add chicken and season with House Blend. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, then flip over.

Spoon cilantro sauce on chicken and cook for another 5-6 minutes. Flip chicken over one more time and spoon more sauce on chicken and cook until chicken is cooked through. Reserve a little sauce for plating. Let rest for a few minutes.

Slice chicken and lay over Sesame Noodles. Spoon reserved sauce over chicken.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and yum, your ready to eat! The chicken is juicy and tender and the sauce is lovely and light.
